Placenta Encapsulation
Many women have reported results suggest that a number of potential advantages can come from ingesting the placenta. Each placenta is different and each person has different needs, therefore the benefits are likely to be different for each individual person. The important thing to remember is that like most things you ingest, there are chemical compounds, minerals, vitamins, and even hormones that will have an effect on your body. You may not experience every listed benefit, but you are likely to experience a few!

These protocols are followed no matter where I prepare; your home, or my workspace
Temperature check of placenta at time of pick up – to ensure proper storage has occurred
Storage until processing in a placenta designated area in my fridge/freezer if I am not able to process right away
Prep space is cleaned with bleach before and after preparation of your placenta. (Your placenta never actually touches the workspace. It only comes in contact with disinfected, or single use, food-grade equipment.)
Placenta vinegar soak for instances of meconium or other concerns.
Single use equipment where appropriate.
Multiple use equipment is cleaned and then soaked in a hospital grade disinfectant. Followed by a rinse with clean water.
I use personal protective equipment, not only to protect myself but to ensure there is no cross contamination from myself to your placenta. – This includes a hair cap, face mask, goggles, gloves, and apron.
I only process one placenta at a time.
